The Windows Into America stamp installation is a highlight of the Smithsonian National Postal Museum – the world’s largest gallery devoted to philately. The historic building was renovated to display a glowing wall of windows featuring reproductions of 54 historic U.S. stamps. The windows provide an unforgettable backdrop to the new William H Gross Gallery and required 65 separate films. The project was the cover story of glass magazine titled “Window to the Future of Decorative Glass”. The designers’ point of view is featured on the US Postal Service site: USPS Stamps: Design Studio.
